Much to my elation, I found out today that my newest film in production, Mint (working title), has been approved by Chapman University to receive some funding, as it will be considered part of a class in the Spring 2008 semester.
This is great news, because it means Chapman will be providing me with 16mm film and processing, as well as a modest budget for food, transportation, and an equipment truck. Any money I bring to the table after that will go towards production design. Mint will be my most ambitious film to date as far as design goes.
